About the e-Rad Account
To access the KAKENHI Electronic Application System, you will need a login ID and password for the e-Rad (Cross-ministerial R&D Management System). If you do not have one, please request it as soon as possible. If you have forgotten your ID or password, please contact the Office of RD & Sponsored Projects, Hiyoshi.
e-Rad Research Integrity Compliance
Applicants (both Principal and Co-Investigators) must register their Research Integrity Pledge Status with their affiliated institution via e-Rad. Failure to do so will render the application ineligible.
To register, check the box labeled "(3) Pledge Status" located at the bottom of the "Affiliated Research Institution" tab under your personal researcher profile in e-Rad.
Important: Before checking the "(3) Pledge Status" box, you must have submitted all necessary information regarding transparency in your research activities to Keio University. This includes disclosures for secondary employment and declarations to your department’s Conflict of Interest (COI) Management Committee. If this has already been done, there is no need to resubmit at the time of application.
If your department does not have a COI Management Committee, submit your declaration to the Central COI Management Committee.
