[Call for Application] Childcare Support: Research Power Up Program 2023

The Research Power Up Program is a research assistance program that allows researchers who are in the process of childbirth or childcare to hire temporary staff for a certain period of time in order to continue their research with as little disruption as possible. If you wish to apply for support through this program, please read the following guidelines before applying.

Application Guideline for AY2023

Support Targets

Full-time researchers (regardless of fixed-term or full-time status or gender) who are affiliated with the Hiyoshi Campus and who are pregnant or raising a child in the third grade or younger at the time of application. However, researchers whose appointment is funded by external funds are not eligible.

How to Apply

If you wish to apply, please apply from the application page.

  • Please be as specific as possible in your application.

  • Personal information submitted with the application will be used for screening purposes only.
  • A copy of your certificate of residence, mother-child handbook, or other document that proves that you are raising a child or are pregnant is also required at the time of adoption.

Applications for AY2023 have been closed.
Tuesday, February 14, 2023, 10:00 a.m. - Friday, March 10, 10:00 a.m.

*This program is scheduled to end in AY2023*.

A similar program, "Research and Education Power Up Support," has been offered as one of the Keio Infant Daycare Support (KIDS Program) of the Office for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusionthe since 2021, but it is scheduled to be integrated from AY2024.
KIDS Program can be used to support not only research work but also educational work (this year, the two programs cannot be used together). We hope you will take advantage of it.
